Lightweight track is a pitching competition for angel-stage startups, which haven’t raised much (if any) external funding, the team still mainly consists of the founders, and they’ve got a product/service demo built, or are close to doing so.

The best lightweight startups from the region get to pitch to a jury of experienced entrepreneurs and investors in three rounds:

ROUND 1: 100 startups get 5 minutes to pitch their company to the jury
2 min pitch + 3 min feedback (no slides), focus on the business

ROUND 2: 20 startups get to pitch their company to the jury with more detail
5 min pitch + 5 min feedback (with slides), focus on the product

ROUND 3: 2-3 best startups get to pitch their company on the main stage
5 min pitch + 5 min questions (with slides)
